The Senior Accountant works closely with the Operations Accounting team to administer COE-EC and COE-WC production accounting, generating invoices, and preparing weekly and monthly journal entries.
Prepare and distribute production invoices to internal and external customers.
Reconcile production billing subsystem journal entry output to G/L input feed daily and weekly to ensure the integrity of all system processes.
Input production adjustments and prepare credit invoices requested by production managers and MPD-E department.
Provide copies of credit invoices/memos to A/R.
Prepare weekly journal entries to transfer charges to appropriate divisions.
Collect backup for the production billing pass-thru charges from Oracle and provide monthly summary to production managers.
Maintenance of billing department records relating to production invoices.
Perform balance sheet analysis of assigned accounts.
Confirm monthly transfer activities and ending balance with Sports Network and provide support for all monthly charges.
Strong Excel skills.
BS in Accounting or Finance.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Oracle Financial experience a large plus.
Prior work in production accounting desirable.
