DESCRIPTION:

As Tape/Features Supervising Producer for CBS This Morning, you will work closely with the Executive Producer, Sr. Broadcast Producer, and Producers to shape the morning broadcast. Utilizing your strong editorial/ news judgment, and managerial experience, you will help to guide aspects of production. As our ideal candidate you will have managed a team and will have sharp editorial judgement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Executive Producer and Sr. Broadcast Producer to ensure a clear, focused & forward-looking editorial vision

  • Manage aspects of production including editorial, booking, live and remote broadcasting, digital and graphics.

  • Oversee segments, including the approval of packages

  • Drive compelling and engaging storytelling which furthers the CBS This Morning brand

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years experience as a producer and/or senior-level producer on a news program

  • Demonstrated ability to make editorial decisions under time pressure and oversee all aspects of production

  • Ability to recognize stories with a high potential of producing compelling television

  • Exceptional understanding of broadcast and video production

  • Exceptional writing, organizational, time-management, and planning skills

  • Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require
