DESCRIPTION:

CBS seeks a Technical Sourcer for a contract position.

Responsibilities include:

*Conduct pre-screen conversations with candidates to evaluate readiness to be considered as a candidate for hire

  • A clear understanding of the recruiting process and the importance of the candidate experience and willingness to enhance processes to provide a stronger experience

  • Demonstrated success in generating high quality diverse pipeline of technical candidates through advanced Boolean searches, social networking, database mining, centers of influence, cold calling and all other resources available

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior recruiters, hiring managers and passive candidates

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for our organization by promoting our value proposition and our position in the market

  • Evaluate potential candidates to gauge technical skill set and interest in current and future job opportunities

  • Establish a pipeline of candidates based on the future needs of the organization

  • Utilize and maintain our applicant tracking system

  • Post company job opportunities on external websites; industry publications, etc.

  • Create innovative sourcing strategies and ensure a high-touch candidate experience

  • Identify and utilize a variety of search tools and techniques through social media channels, job boards, database mining and cold calling to promote open positions and to identify relevant talent

  • Take an active role in creating an environment of innovation, collaboration, transparency, accountability, trust and fun

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, 1+ years of experience in identifying and securing technical talent for multiple business functions

  • Experience sourcing candidate via online resume databases (Indeed, Dice, Monster, LinkedIn) required

  • Experience in social recruiting via Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms preferred.

  • Demonstrated comfort in sourcing Developers, Engineers and Software Architects

  • Self-motivated with ability to establish and sustain strong internal customer relationships and external candidate relationships, effectively balancing the needs of each

  • Ability to manage change and influence others in order to reach stated objectives

  • Excellent communication and business writing skills

  • Ability to determine the appropriate amount of detail gained in research in order to present findings in an accurate, methodical, and concise manner

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
