CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. CBS is interviewing for a full-time broadcast designer.
The position’s primary focus is serving the KPIX/KBCW Creative Services department at the CBS owned-and-operated duopoly in San Francisco. Our ideal candidate is an exceptional motion graphics designer who creates agency-level broadcast, social, web, and print design under deadline. Candidate must work well in a team-oriented, creative, collaborative environment.
3-5 years design experience in a broadcast environment or equivalent.
Highly proficient in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator CC.
Proficiency as a photographer is a huge bonus.
Social media savvy.
Solid typography skills, exceptional design aesthetic and awareness of design trends and innovation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and shifting deadlines.
Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and operate a keyboard.
