CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. KSTW-TV, Seattle’s CW Network affiliate is seeking a Sales Assistant to provide administrative & sales support to the Sales Management Team.
Duties will include:
Serve as a main point of contact for both the National and Local Sales Managers, Local and outside rep firm Account Executives in all administrative aspects of the job.
Communicate with outside Rep Firm and Local and National Account Executives regarding make good offers, preemptions, credits, post logs, pre logs, discrepancies, pulling invoices.
Order entry & contract maintenance: Input all orders into traffic via Wide Orbit.
Generate quarterly Paid Programming inventory grid in SharePoint and input all new inventory and allocations (programming, 800 #’s and titles).
Arrange and book Sales Manager Travel plans and prepare expense reports for actual travel and entertainment expenses incurred.
Participate in our weekly Sales Meeting
Other duties as may be assigned.
Required: High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred:The ideal candidate will possess strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint and Google docs experience. Excellent people skills and able to navigate different personalities. The ability to multitask and prioritize projects while maintaining attention to detail. Be a self-starter and take initiative to problem solve after training. AA degree or previous sales assistant and/or media experience strongly preferred.
