CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. DESCRIPTION:

CW44 WTOG-TV is seeking an experienced media salesperson driven to make great money and has a strong desire to join a team that celebrates and rewards success in a fun and challenging environment.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success in broadcast or digital media sales with a demonstrable record of successful prospecting, closing, developing and retaining new advertisers. Must be able to work successfully in a multi-platform environment selling both television and digital products.

Candidate must possess strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to manage accounts effectively in order to drive revenue and increase client participation.

Responsibilities:

Manage, develop and retain advertiser broadcast and digital sales.

New business development.

Develop and present advertising and promotional solutions.

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:

4+ years of media sales experience.

Strong contacts with Direct Clients, Ad Agencies, PR Firms, Digital Agencies and Promotional Firms.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Proven track record of developing new business and meeting/exceeding sales goals.

Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery.

In-depth understanding of broadcast and digital media tools.

Knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
