CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. Worth), KPIX-TV and KBCW-TV (San Francisco), WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV (Boston), WUPA-TV (Atlanta), WWJ-TV and WKBD-TV (Detroit), KSTW-TV (Seattle), WTOG-TV (Tampa-St. Petersburg), WCCO-TV (Minneapolis), KCNC-TV (Denver), WFOR-TV and WBFS-TV (Miami), KOVR-TV and KMAX-TV (Sacramento), KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV (Pittsburgh), WJZ-TV (Baltimore), as well as WCCO-TV’s satellite stations KCCO-TV (Alexandria, Minn.) and KCCW-TV (Walker, Minn.).


KCBS2/KCAL9 TV, the CBS Owned & Operated Duopoly in Los Angeles, is seeking a Digital Account Executive who will report to the Digital Sales Manager and be responsible for prospecting, developing, closing and maintaining advertising accounts with KCBS/KCAL and CBS Local Digital Media.

  • Primary role will be to grow online ad sales revenue and exceed revenue goals; position will be focused on creating new business opportunities and growing existing partnerships with agencies and clients.

  • Sell online advertising placements across CBS Local Digital properties including CBS Local websites and apps, mobile, social platforms and third-party offerings.

  • Prioritize and organize sales calls based on maximum potential return.

  • Source and respond to local RFP’s making strategic recommendations to win business and maximize online revenue.

  • Create and sell unique digital sales promotions, including custom video, editorial, contests and special advertising programs.

  • Analyze competitive online media marketplace

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of individual ad sales; including forecast management, campaign management and sales analysis.

  • Order-entry and management of digital campaigns in Wide Orbit.

  • Submit online campaign creative and track pacing in Google DFP.

  • Work with CBS creative teams on production of digital campaign deliverables.

  • Manage creative process for ads including resizing, digitizing, etc.,

  • Monitor campaigns to optimize client ROI and performance.

  • Minimum 2-3 yrs of online advertising sales. Other media sales experience is a plus.

  • Dedicated and driven work ethic, excellent writing skills, and comfortable making presentations to all size groups (5-50), outstanding computer skills.

  • Must excel with PowerPoint and Excel and/or Pages and Numbers.

  • Understanding of Wide Orbit, Google Analytics, Google DFP, ComScore, and Adobe Creative Suite are a plus.
