  • Ingest/download all incoming photo assets (including unit, gallery, events) and manage by adhering to naming conventions, file and folder structures, metadata standards, converting and processing RAW files.

  • Act as photographer to cover a series of assignments ranging from talk shows & game shows, to red carpet events & alternate programming. Need to be able to shoot and light for studio assignments, as well as assist.

  • Work as a digital tech/editor at live events and photo shoots using CaptureOne.

*Provide front line communication and instructions for asset delivery/upload for internal and external photographers, troubleshoot.

*Mind talent approval rights and contracts; send & track photo approvals accordingly.

*Provide production support to galleries when needed.

*Maintain the ongoing internal filing systems by inputting Metadata for all photo coverage generated out of the LA Photo department.

  • Upload assets to multiple databases (including 3rd party DAM system, DF Studio, Box, and hard drives) and maintain organization and consistency across all platforms.

*Distribute assets to NY photo department, ad agencies, studios and partners; record and track distribution.

  • Outsource imagery for retouch, create work orders, provide guidance and feedback.


§ Minimum 5 years’ experience in the photography field (concentration in the entertainment industry is a plus)

§ Extensive knowledge of Photo Mechanic, Capture One, FileMaker Pro, and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, especially Photoshop. Experience with DF Studio a major plus.

§ At least 3 years’ experience taking photographs in a professional setting (ie. Unit and event photography)

§ Knowledge of Mac & PC operations

§ Extensive knowledge of lighting

§ Ability to work in high-pressure situations
