DESCRIPTION:

  • Assist Business Affairs and Finance by using database management and tracking software systems to track, summarize, and create detailed weekly and special reports pertaining to, CBS Network, CBS Television Studios, and other CBS-associated entities’ agreements with third parties (both companies and individuals), including deals for:

-Programming licenses (e.g., development, pilots, series, specials, etc.)

-Talent (e.g., actors, writers, directors, producers, etc.)

-Rights

-Term Deals

  • Establish working expertise in the relevant data management system and proactively seek out and implement improvements and efficiencies

  • Treat and maintain confidential and sensitive material in a professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

§ College degree and prior television business affairs, legal, finance, or database management experience preferred

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

§ Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy

  • Consistent ability to make prompt responses to requests and complete tasks

§ Professional demeanor and a collaborative and courteous attitude

§ Self-motivated, comfortable with working independently, and adaptable to change

§ Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel and prior experience with other database software systems, including the ability to create customized reports, tables, data tracking, etc.
