CBS Studios International is the leading supplier of programming to the international television marketplace, licensing to more than 200 markets in more than 60 languages across multiple media platforms. The Studio participates in international channel ventures, currently comprised of 18 channels in 24 languages across over 100 territories, reaching more than 70 million households worldwide. CBS Studios International also exports a diverse lineup of formats for local production around the world. The division distributes content from CBS Television Studios, CBS Television Distribution, Showtime, CBS News, CBS Films and a library of more than 70,000 hours of programming.   • Negotiate, draft and review television (content) license agreements, amendments and related documents for the licensing and exploitation of the CBSSI catalogue (CBS, Showtime and The CW content) across EMEA.

  • Advise and interface with contracts administration, sales administration, finance & accounting, marketing, and clearance teams on all matters.

  • Create summaries of major deals and carry out due diligence projects.

  • Work as a member of a busy and high-functioning team that supports the CBSSI business across EMEA in the European headquarters in Amsterdam.

  • Support Legal & Business Affairs senior attorneys with projects, contract/sales analysis, contract review, etc.

  • Reports to VP Legal and Business Affairs EMEA.



  • Qualified lawyer (UK or Dutch qualified preferably) with a minimum of three (3) years relevant entertainment and transactional legal and business affairs experience.

  • Proven track-record of creatively addressing the legal and business issues arising in a multinational media organization.

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and work under strict timelines and deadlines.

  • Strong people skills with the ability to build interdepartmental relationships at all levels.

  • CBSSI’s partners across EMEA include all of the leading pay, free and digital broadcasters and platforms and so experience in understanding these businesses will be a plus.

  • Must be able to work independently, have an effective problem-solving approach, be well-organized and have a strong work ethic.

  • Full time available, 5 days a week.

  • Must be fluent in English.
