CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Worth), KPIX-TV and KBCW-TV (San Francisco), WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV (Boston), WUPA-TV (Atlanta), WWJ-TV and WKBD-TV (Detroit), KSTW-TV (Seattle), WTOG-TV (Tampa-St. Petersburg), WCCO-TV (Minneapolis), KCNC-TV (Denver), WFOR-TV and WBFS-TV (Miami), KOVR-TV and KMAX-TV (Sacramento), KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV (Pittsburgh), WJZ-TV (Baltimore), as well as WCCO-TV’s satellite stations KCCO-TV (Alexandria, Minn.) and KCCW-TV (Walker, Minn.).
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of professional broadcast video, computer and RF transmission equipment, May also be involved with installation and maintenance of IP-based systems and servers. Ability to read schematics and understand technical manuals required. Work various studio operations positions as assigned. Must be able to work day or night shift as needed.
Applicant should have a minimum of 3 years television broadcast maintenance experience with strong hands-on capability operating and repairing Studio and ENG equipment; including News vans and Sat trucks.
Experience with non-linear editing systems, station automation, computer networking and video servers a plus. Participation in technical projects including installation, wiring, integration, testing and troubleshooting a must. Applicant should be familiar with basic video and RF test equipment and troubleshooting techniques. Must have the ability to work independently and/or with a team, and work under deadlines.
