Brand Overview:

We are the 24/7 entertainment news digital arm of the long-running, Emmy Award-winning syndicated TV series Entertainment Tonight. ETonline has been the No. 1 producer of entertainment video online for more than 2 years straight, according to comScore, and is a top three entertainment news network. We are also preparing for the launch of an ET-branded streaming network in 2018.

Role Details:

We’re looking for a coordinator to help with scheduling and administrative tasks for the video, editorial and social team at ETonline.com.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Supporting ETonline senior staff with scheduling, travel, expenses and other administrative duties.

  • Working with team managers to maintain an ongoing staff schedule that meets the needs of our 24/7 production cycle.

  • Tracking invoices and expenditures for editorial and video production spending.

  • Assisting with planning and execution of work-related social events and staff training functions.

  • Ordering food and handling other logistical support for staff meetings or events that require additional staff to be in the office on nights or weekends.

  • Working with video producers to support shoot production needs, including travel arrangements, purchasing props, shoot supplies or other set materials.

  • Working with IT and other office administrative and HR staff to support new hires and contract staff.

  • Reviewing, logging and transcribing incoming footage from shoots and interviews.

  • May include occasional work to support the team at night or on weekends.

Key Projects:

  • We’re committed to working hard and holding ourselves accountable as we cover breaking news and the tentpole events of the year in the entertainment industry: awards season, summer movie season and fall TV premiere season.

  • In collaboration with our colleagues who produce the TV show, ETonline produces a high volume of breaking news and exclusive news and interview videos and articles every day.

  • In 2018, CBSi plans to launch an ET-branded streaming network. ETonline staff will be deeply involved in developing, producing and distributing content for and from that platform.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You have -

  • At least one year of experience in an administrative role (including handling invoices).

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent life/work experience.

  • An attention to detail and comfort with handling scheduling needs and invoices for a large team.

  • Flexibility to reprioritize duties based on changes in the news cycle.

  • An un-ironic love of pop culture.

  • A competitive nature that thrives in an environment that requires both speed and accuracy.

  • The ability to multitask.
