CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. Worth), KPIX-TV and KBCW-TV (San Francisco), WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV (Boston), WUPA-TV (Atlanta), WWJ-TV and WKBD-TV (Detroit), KSTW-TV (Seattle), WTOG-TV (Tampa-St. Petersburg), WCCO-TV (Minneapolis), KCNC-TV (Denver), WFOR-TV and WBFS-TV (Miami), KOVR-TV and KMAX-TV (Sacramento), KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV (Pittsburgh), WJZ-TV (Baltimore), as well as WCCO-TV’s satellite stations KCCO-TV (Alexandria, Minn.) and KCCW-TV (Walker, Minn.).


  • The Reporter/MMJ is responsible for originating, researching, writing, producing, presenting, and editing dynamic stories for TV and our digital platforms, as well as capturing visual content

  • Develop and deliver ideas for stories that can lead newscasts; exhibit enterprise in pursuit and production of news reports

  • Perform high-energy, engaging live shots as assigned

  • Deliver reports on air and digital ensuring an accurate and ethical presentation of the news

  • Conduct necessary interviews

  • Meet all news production deadlines

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in News, Digital, Promotion, Production and Engineering on daily assignments and special projects

  • Participate in Community Relations events



  • Must be a strong emotional storyteller

  • Must have strong videographer and non-linear editing experience

  • Must be results oriented, curious, creative and committed to teamwork

  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills

  • Must be flexible to working all shifts, including mornings and weekends

  • Must have a valid driver’s license


  • College degree

  • Two years reporting in commercial television
