Graphics Operator for CBS News broadcasts and Special Reports. Work with Production Assistants, Directors and Producers to load graphics into playlists in Viz Trio or Pilot and play them out on air. Ensure that the proper graphics are in place and ready for air. Ability to work in fast-paced environment and to multi-task under pressure a must. Strong computer, communications and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to work flexible hours and/or weekends. This position is in the NY Broadcast Center and is covered by the IBEW Local 1212 union.
At least 2-3 years of experience as an On-Air Graphics Operator in a News environment preferred. Working knowledge of Viz Trio and Pilot and familiarity with Viz Artist are a plus. Live and taped broadcast experience, graphic production and graphic device operation.
