DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for computing all cloud related costs and understanding each of the various inputs and outputs in building a cloud financial model. This position is also responsible for working with the Multi-Platform Distribution Group and supporting all of the financial aspects as it relates to the Media Supply Chain.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for understanding and computing all aspects of cloud related costs and modeling the financial impact of operating in a cloud environment

  • Experience in computing infrastructure including virtualization, hosted services, storage systems and content delivery networks

  • Understanding all aspects of a cloud based Media Supply Chain and how that financially impacts day to day business

  • Lead efforts to automate repetitive cost optimization tasks

  • Work with broad partner set roles including Project Managers, Developers, Engineers and Operations for high profile Cloud-based initiatives

  • Develop and define business requirements and KPI’s that enable the business to track performance and success

  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities

  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting support including but not limited to gap analyses

  • Collaborate with various vendors and maintain strategic relationships

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a Financial/ Business Analysis Role

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or Finance

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Must possess strong working knowledge of media supply chains and cloud environment

  • Understanding of Infrastructure and Operations landscape with a focus on public cloud technology and how it differs from traditional reporting (Capex to Opex)

  • Experience in driving an organization to map applications and expenses to specific business objectives

  • Advanced Excel knowledge including financial analysis & modeling

  • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization and influence leadership

  • Use creative and data centric presentation skills

  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, under minimal supervision, while effectively meeting extremely tight deadlines

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
