We are seeking a dynamic, creative colleague to join our L&D team as (Senior) Manager, Employee Experience in New York. This role is responsible for ensuring an exemplary and engaging employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle and across all global CBSi locations..
This position manages 1-2 team members, has ownership for our diversity, social responsibility and overall culture, and provides guidance to other groups’ engagement initiatives. Provide leadership to our employee experience efforts in the following areas:
Serve as the focal point for any culture-related events or programs:
Design bespoke engagement programs that delight employees, including reward & recognition or retention programs (non-monetary), social media initiatives, actions that enhance a sense of ‘belonging’, events that spark participation, and similar initiatives.
Partner with the People Analytics team to capitalize on data from multiple sources (e.g. Engagement Survey, Recruitment Survey, New Hire Survey, Learning NPS Metrics, and Exit Survey), and suggest or develop engaging programs that promote networking, collaboration, and development.
Serve as a sounding board to all global CBSi locations with respect to culture activities, provide feedback on ideas and spread best practices across offices
Employee Events: Provide guidance to our Employee Experience Lead to:
Develop a cohesive Employee Events strategy across all domestic and international locations and suggest activities that celebrate employees and increase engagement.
Oversee our annual flagship events (holiday parties, health & wellness events and other celebrations), ensuring all global locations innovate activities that are inspirational and rewarding.
Track Employee Events and manage budgets across all locations.
iCares / Social Responsibility: Provide guidance to our Employee Experience Lead to: Ensure all activities promote and reinforce the CBSi culture and values. Develop a cohesive Social Responsibility strategy across all domestic and international locations and suggest activities that advance our efforts and increase engagement.
Oversee our annual ‘day of giving’ (iCares Day), ensuring all global locations participate in a meaningful and inspirational day in support of the communities in which we do business.
Track Social Responsibility activities on a monthly or quarterly basis, and manage budgets across all locations.
Diversity and Inclusion:
Provide leadership to CBSi’s diversity and inclusion efforts by serving as the primary leadership contact to CBS Corporate and our Employee Resource Groups/ERGs; provide guidance and support events, as needed, across all CBSi locations.
Develop and launch unique initiatives that further enhance inclusion across the business
As needed, provide guidance to other groups and leaders to help them design and implement effective strategies that further our position as an inclusive workplace where everyone belongs!
Social / Employer Brand:
Develop initiatives (e.g. Blogs, chats, stories, etc.) that harness the power of CBSi’s values and history, and that continue to engage, inspire and educate our employees.
Consult with PR, Talent Acquisition, and University Relations to ensure that our social media initiatives appropriately reflect our internal brand and employee culture.
Within your first year you will have dramatically impacted the Employee Experience--and our business culture--in several ways, including:
Reviewing our existing employee lifecycle processes to identify opportunities for increased engagement (e.g. Designing new ways for employees to share their unique selves/skills; developing ways to help departing employees leave a legacy; crafting opportunities for employees to collaborate across departments, etc.).
Developing an onboarding process that captures new hires’ imaginations, and helps set-up employees for success.
Designing and executing on a ‘pulse survey’ strategy to continue to capture employee voice throughout the year. Also provide guidance and feedback to the business leaders and HRBPs as they execute upon their Engagement Survey Action Plans
Helping our ERGs innovate on strategies to multiply their impact across the business
What you bring to the team:
BA/BS Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
3-5+ years of experience in a core, related area including Communications, Social Media, Diversity and Inclusion, Public Relations, Employee Engagement, Corporate Social Responsibility, Employee Events or Human Resources
