In this position, will record and process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing along with administering policies relating to all phases of human resources/payroll activity by performing the following duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources/payroll functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Processes weekly/semi-monthly payrolls
Tracks attendance for adherence to attendance policy and issues appropriate warnings
Administers all LOA's: STD, FMLA and workers compensation
Maintains all OSHA log requirements
Updates, maintains and inputs into EOT system
Controls security access
Chairs activity committee
Coordinates all temporary agency assignments
Interacts with controllers department on all SOX payroll reporting and quarterly audits
Resolves employee inquiries
Coordinates all facility activities
Calculates and adjusts vacation accruals
Issues vacation schedules
Assists with recruiting
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
