DESCRIPTION:

Job Description

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for maintaining 13 weeks of inventory for assigned stations. The Inventory Specialist will work on a deadline and report any issues with advertiser/order separation, incorrect break codes, incorrect inventory codes, etc. back to the station for correction.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include keeping sellout levels managed, reporting opportunities to team and managing overall inventory quality control.

  • Communicate with Programming Team on any coding and/or format changes needed to ensure all spots place effectively

  • Monitor weekly inventory/pricing calls and effective communication between Inventory Specialist, Station Specialist, and local station Sales Management

  • Assist Station Sales management, AE's & national Reps on any inventory related issues, including inventory reporting and inventory usage

  • Support decision making, management, and follow-up processes

  • Work with Stations Sales Manager to optimize revenue and opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualification requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Wide Orbit

  • Previous work in a traffic hub environment

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred

  • Strong communications skills

  • Willingness to learn and take on all tasks assigned

  • Team Player- will be working will all levels in the organization

  • Ability to work under pressure against deadlines

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years broadcast experience required with advance knowledge of Wide Orbit.

Education:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred
