Division Overview

The Global Franchise Management group is responsible for establishing and maintaining a cohesive Star Trek franchise presence cross-company.

Role Details:

The Global Franchise Management team is looking for a creative and capable Associate Content Producer to produce entertainment segments from behind-the-scenes, news stories, guest segments and more. This content will live on and its social media platforms. The role requires the ability to juggle projects and multi-task under tight deadlines. The right candidate must have a real love for brand extension and a creative knack for pitching/producing stories that people want to watch and share.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Produce quality video/audio elements that extend the brand identity

  • Identify, pitch and report out stories building buzz in entertainment and pop culture

  • Build in-video elements and graphics

  • Re-package segments for multiple platforms in different styles as directed



  • 2 years+ journalism experience in Broadcast, Cable or Digital

  • Strong research, writing and copy-editing skills with ability to turn content around quickly

  • Sophisticated knowledge of social media and the digital entertainment news space

  • Video-editing experience

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, including event coverage


  • History of creating compelling video content for platforms including YouTube, Instagram and/or Facebook

  • Proficiency with graphic systems or camera expertise

  • History of creating compelling video content for platforms including YouTube, Instagram and/or Facebook

  • Experience covering live events: Red carpets, events, Comic Cons, etc.
